Lead IT Engineer

Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT systems and electronic data operations. Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures to ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems. Identify problem areas and implement strategic solutions in time. Establish and maintain processes and procedures for implementing and/or maintaining technical environments of ERP systems like J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne. Work on upgrade of ERP systems and related components on Deployment server and Enterprise Servers. Perform Enterprise resource management system installations, system assessment, security configurations, change management, CNC administration, system backup, and third-party software integration. Handle system configuration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, performance optimizations, and daily operations of JDE instances. Support large enterprise systems like JDE systems globally that are hosted on SQL Server and/or Oracle database servers. Provide solutions and recommendations to technical and functional team to resolve issues. Perform OMW project promotion, package build and deploying to servers, cross reference build, etc. Work with various team members on multiple onshore and offshore projects. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field and five years of experience as IT Engineer, Network Engineer, Software Engineer, Systems Administrator, or in a related position. Will accept single degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas, professional credentials and/or professional experience determined to be bachelor’s equivalent by a qualified evaluation service. Experience must include the use of JD Edwards Enterprise One, Redhat Enterprise Linux, VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Windows Server, Checkpoint, and Barracuda Backup Server.

Senior Software Engineer

Design, develop, test, document and implement software applications including web-based applications, especially in the insurance and retail domains. Analyze and review system capabilities and software requirements to determine feasibility of design. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Formulate plan, to develop the program, using structured analysis and design. Determine permissible deviations, and deliver solutions that meet the requirements. Architect new requirements and enhancement plans. Participate in sprint planning. Provide production support. Automate routine business processes. Use a variety of software tools and technologies including .NET technologies (ASP.NET, C# and MVC ), JavaScript, SQL Server, JQuery, Ajax, XML, XSLT and PowerShell. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or closely related field and five years of experience as Software Engineer, Systems Analyst  or in a related position. Will accept Master’s degree and 3 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience. Must have experience developing applications in the insurance or retail domain.  Experience must include  use of .Net technologies (ASP.Net, C# and MVC), JavaScript, SQL Server, JQuery, Ajax, XML, XSLT, and PowerShell. Work location: Sterling, VA. Travel/relocation to unanticipated project locations throughout the U.S. may be required.
